New Light House

New Light House

Standing tall over picturesque cityscape of Puducherry, the new lighthouse is located slightly on the outskirts. Built to replace the majestic old lighthouse which stands on the Goubert Avenue, the new structure is a much taller and imposing structure. Unlike the old circular tower, the new one has a rather flat hexagonal design with alternating black and white bands; a striking pattern which is easily noticeable from far-off.
